As part of a high-performing team of nature specialists, I am responsible for shaping the Group-wide approach to nature & providing strategic advice across the business based on specialist nature-related knowledge, market insights and trends. In this role, I-provide guidance to the Group on the assessment and management of nature-related impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities-lead the Group’s approach to agricultural forest risk commodities, working with risk and client-facing teams to ensure effective implementation of our external sector statement-play a leading role in building the Group’s capabilities on nature, designing and delivering Group-wide and tailored training to large internal audiences-translate emerging and existing nature-related requirements for the financial services sector, maintaining strong external networks with UK Government and a wide variety of NGOs and industry groups to ensure I stay abreast of the latest policy developments-represent the Group in leading industry initiatives, including the SMI’s Financial Services Taskforce, as well as at major events and conventions (including CBD COP 16). N.B. This role includes line management responsibilities & supporting the development of others.
