I have greatly widened my skillset since starting to work in Pear Tree. I deal with customers, train new members of staff and stay on top of the smooth running of the coffee shop. Being the longest serving member of staff has enabled me to be trained in all areas of work and develop strong relationships with my colleagues and customers. I am frequently complimented by customers for my oral communication skills and my ability to stay calm whenever extremely busy. Working in hospitality has enabled me to develop my communication, leadership, organisational and management skills and has greatly built my self confidence.
