ABOUT BETH BARKER
Hello there & thanks for reading! My name\'s Beth and I\'m a Director in the Corporate Tax team at RSM UK. Having been with RSM UK for over 9 years, I work predominantly with private-equity portfolio companies and middle market owner-managed businesses and support throughout their lifecycle. I mainly help my clients with their group tax compliance and provisioning, advising on a range of tax issues from interest deductibility (particularly in respect of the corporate interest restriction), to structuring, group reorganisations and transactions. I particularly enjoy finding innovative ways to simplify the world of tax and the mountain of tax legislation, helping my clients understand their tax liabilities, issues and filing requirements with HMRC. I\'m passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and take pride in co-leading RSM\'s Empower network - helping to empower people into leadership roles. Outside of work, you would probably find me out walking with my Labrador, Barney! We are particularly fond of the Lake District and so that\'s often our go to escape.
