About Beth Winkler

Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University in Boston in 1995. She specializes in treating various types of spinal and pelvic disorders and completed a three-year residency program with the Manual Therapy Institute. Through this training, Beth earned “fellowship” status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and is practiced in advanced clinical, analytical, and hands-on skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. In 2024 she completed her Therapeutic Pian Specialist Certification from Evidence in Motion. Her mission is to empower people to overcome chronic pain using methods backed by neuroscience including brain retraining, pain neuroscience education and neuroplasticity. Beth opened Magnolia Physical Therapy 1 month before hurricane Katrina with her partner Lisa Taglauer and grew it to the 3 clinics that stand today helping over 800 patients a week return to full function. She has been honored with a number of local awards, including New Orleans Magazine’s “Top People to Watch\", “Best Physical Therapist” from Gambit’s “Best of New Orleans” (Readers’ Poll) 3 years in a row, and New Orleans\' City Business 2024 Healthcare Hero award. Magnolia Physical Therapy has been on the Inc 3 times, was awarded Jefferson Parish’s women owned business of the year 2019, Jedco small business of the year 2019, a finalist in the 2020 Louisiana growth leader awards for Louisiana Economic Development and The Times Picayune Top Places to Work in 2019 and 2024.
