About Beth White

With over 28 years of experience in education and management in various settings, Dr. White has a proven track record in educational development, strategic planning, project management, personnel management, and budgetary management of STEM education programs. She currently manages research participation programs to facilitate the preparation of highly qualified scientific talent to strengthen the federal STEM workforce. Dr. White serves on various teams to promote and support the Oak Ridge Institute for Science Education (ORISE) while continuing to pursue her own research interests in STEM educational development as well as STEM workforce development with an emphasis on the recruitment and retention of varied student groups in STEM disciplines. She thrives in a fast paced environment that demands strong organizational, communication, critical thinking, collaborative and technical skills and excels at discerning needs and resolving issues in an innovative, timely manner.
