Passionate Social Work Graduate | ARMHS Professional | Improviser and Model 🤝Hello! My name is Beth and I\'m a dedicated social work enthusiast currently navigating the social work intersection of grad school and real-world impact. Exploring the Depths of Social Work:Right now I\'m in the midst of my pursuit of an MSW at the University of Minnesota which allows me the opportunity to learn the academic language and the hands-on practice of social work. My journey has taken me beyond traditional borders, where I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad and contribute to London\'s Youth Offending Services. London Calling:Picture this - looking up to concrete skyscrapers, riding on the tube, and the chance to contribute to London\'s Youth Offending Services. My experience abroad was transformative: expanding my perspective on global social issues, informing me how other people solve youth crises, and reinforcing my commitment to empowering young individuals to overcome challenges. Current Role | ARMHS Warrior at Alliance Health Care, Eagan:As an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) worker at Alliance Health Care in Eagan, I have the opportunity to travel to clients\' homes and set goals together despite longterm, chronic, mental illness. This internship has taught me the power having unconditional positive regard with clients, the impact of being open, honest, and meticulous in my conversations, and the managerial skills of working with a team to complete a task. Hobbies | Improv and ModelingAlthough I love social work, it\'s not everything I do. I also participate in the Minneapolis Improv community and the Minneapolis modeling community. I\'ve had the opportunity to be a part of the Stevie Ray\'s Comedy Cabaret, HUGE Improv, and Strike Theater improv communities and am even a part of a troupe that does shows in the local area. I also have been able to participate in modeling throughout the Minneapolis area - I have participated in photoshoots and even in the runway event Refining in Color Fashion Show.
