ABOUT BETH MACDOUGALL ASSOC.

Currently on secondment as EY UK Adjustment And Accessibility Assistant Manager! EY NI Disability Champion, advocating and innovating for further disability inclusive recruitment and employee experience initiatives. Ability Lead for EY UK Student Recruitment team, overseeing Student Programme application adjustments and working with a spectacular team to support students and young people of diverse abilities into the world of work. Acting Deputy Co-Chair in the EY Ability Network, EY’s community network that celebrates and supports people of diverse abilities including disability, long-term health conditions and Neurodivergence. Focused on empowering diverse abilities in the workplace, I am an active advocate for Ability Inclusion, speaking locally and nationally to increase awareness and educate on the significant value of empowering diverse ability talent for both individuals and businesses.Learning from my own experiences navigating the workplace as a person with a disability, and how the strengths and skills developed as a result of living with a disability, I endeavour to support all employees, especially those of diverse abilities to build confidence and empowerment, growing in skills such as innovation, adaptability and resilience, to reach their full potential. I love meeting and learning from people, it’s my passion and purpose and always keen to get involved and help where I can. For me staff experience and perception of inclusion is everything. I strive to embed this in everything I do to ensure all candidates have a positive and gainful experience, no matter what their outcome. My passion is Diversity and Inclusion with a particular focus on empowering persons with disabilities in the workplace to push past boundaries and challenge perception.
