About Beth Hammond
From Cosmetics to Careers: My Accidental Path to Staffing**In 1998, I took a leap into the staffing industry—and never looked back. Before that, my career was rooted in retail cosmetics and then a brief chapter in inside sales for an electronics manufacturer. It wasn’t until I was laid off and met a staffing professional by chance, that everything changed. That serendipitous moment became the turning point in what I now call my \"accidental career.\"I stepped into staffing with no prior experience, beginning in an entry-level role. Thanks to a handful of incredible mentors who saw something in me, I was encouraged to dream bigger and work harder. Their belief in my potential, combined with my drive and resilience, helped me grow into a career I’m deeply proud of.It might sound cliché—but I’m living proof that grit, humility, and relentless determination can truly shape your path. Staffing gave me more than a job—it gave me purpose.
