Joey is an active member of the vibrant professional communities of Los Angeles. His career has been centered on content + community + commerce. Covering such industries as entertainment, eCommerce, CPG, SaaS, cannabis, and the fast-growing legal mushroom industry.Early in his career, he spent his time working with Mark Burnett producing shows like Survivor, The Voice, and Shark Tank.As the digital media landscape took shape Joey saw the opportunity to work more directly with the brand and content creators to reach audiences in a whole new way. This viewpoint led him to work with Encompass Films, an LA-based production company, and Amplify.LA, a local tech accelerator.From there he focused on growing eCommerce brands in the active lifestyle and apparel space. He is the former VP of New Business Development and Head of Partnerships for Hawke Media.Joey is the former Co-founder of the global commerce platform called Elliot. Where they focused on simplifying commerce for SMB to Enterprise size brands on 6 continents and in over 150 languages.Throughout his professional career, he has advised consumer brands, cannabis businesses, VR/AR technologies, SaaS platforms, and various emerging industries. He is always curious to solve some of the most complex challenges business owners face by introducing solutions including technology, talent, expertise, and relationships. CURRENTLY, he is focused on helping post-revenue companies ready for high-speed growth reach the next level. Joey helps brands get true optics on their business to help them capitalize on the opportunities ahead.He is the co-creator of Mount Mushmore, a community focused on connecting people with the benefits of the Fungi Kingdom.
