ABOUT SAMUEL BERRYMAN
Samuel G. Berryman is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Mechatronics, from the University of British Columbia. In Samuel’s research, he is currently developing new technologies to investigate the heterogeneous cytolytic behaviour of Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cells. This research builds on his previous work which involved utilizing machine learning to determine cell phenotypes based on observable morphologies. In his studies, he has enjoyed developing a diverse skillset in microfabrication, instrumentation, cell biology, and machine learning.
