Several years ago I found myself searching for something bigger than myself. Something to be truly passionate about. I got lucky and found it. Cyber security. As an OG geek pounding on the keyboard of a Commodore 64, I am surprised I never knew about cyber security. With the support of my family, I cast aside my past and future and engaged in my original passion of protecting our nation.(Air Force Veteran)As an incident responder, I find myself pulled toward the gaps. Fusing my past experience of negotiating and finding solutions, I have been able to leverage my passion to find the gaps which need secured to ensure the security of the organization. Using threat intelligence to arm me and our team with the knowledge needed to actively defend our networks is the greatest satisfaction. Being an integrated member of each investigation ranging from digital forensics to malware analysis has given me a knowledge and appreciation of the skills needed to confront the adversary on our turf.
