As a licensed Professional Engineer, I bring 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management to the table. In my current role at Meta, I manage a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring execution of prioritized projects, conducting workforce planning, and providing input to headcount and hiring needs. I also serve as the Mechanical Discipline Team\'s representative in cross-functional forums and as the engineering point of escalation for technically complex mechanical system issues that occur in data center facilities.With experience as a Facilities Lead Mechanical Engineer at Meta (formerly Facebook), I have developed strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, and have demonstrated the ability to manage performance, resourcing, and career development of direct reports, in addition to leading technically complex projects. Additionally, I have experience evaluating systems to perform efficient load management, capacity planning, and developing engineering metrics and statistical data for strategic planning.Prior to Meta, I gained extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary teams of engineers responsible for the concurrent MEP design of large commercial office facilities, restaurants, multi-family residential, tenant fit-out, critical infrastructure, and central plant major renovations. In this capacity, I maintained the MEP team schedule and staffing to meet project deadlines, coordinated programming and functional requirements for MEP systems with developer and architecture teams from project inception through design and construction phases, and managed MEP subcontractor performance on design-build and prime contract teams.My proficiency in current construction codes (IMC, IECC, IPC, IFC, IgCC) as well as IBC requirements as related to building design has enabled me to troubleshoot and establish corrective actions for designs, conduct regular analyses and audits of mechanical system utilization, and generate specifications, RFPs, ROMs, and SOWs for projects.
