He has worked in various countries, the main focus being the United States and Germany, and understands the challenges of managing inter-cultural teams.His passion is creating ideas that change the world, building world-class teams and going through years of hard work to make the idea a reality.History:After working as an enthusiastic programmer in his youth, Bernie joined IBM in 1989 after graduation in Computer Science. He took several positions there in project management and sales. From he managed an IT budget of $100 million as VP Application Development at o.tel.o (owned by major German utilities), building up his organization from 1 to 120 employees in four years. In he founded his first startup, Xionet, and successfully raised € 3 million of Venture Capital. Since 2009, his main business railando.com offers professional software development services for web and mobile apps using modern technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Clojure and BDD (Behavior Driven Development), iOS/Android native apps as well as the occasional HTML5 mobile app.Bernie is running antsle, Inc. out of San Diego and a satellite office in San Francisco.
