Bernie studied both computer programming at Mohawk College and Advertising at Sheridan College and, after enjoying a short stint at an advertising agency, started his own advertising business in 1998. Starting out under the brand “Adverdea”, Bernie also launched an SEO company and later merged the two businesses under the name “Rocket Digital”. While Bernie’s training and experience gave him a solid foundation in traditional marketing, he knew the future was driven by technology. Well before other agencies and marketing companies reached into the digital world, Bernie set a vision to be a industry leader in internet marketing. Soon after building their first website in the year Bernie and his team rapidly gained a reputation as a leader in the online world.
