Operations and engineering leader with over 15 years’ experience delivering complex, safety-critical projects across the nuclear, defence, and energy sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Radiation Protection & Characterisation (RP & C) at Amentum, where I lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering radiation protection advisory, radiometrics, DQO-led characterisation and CBRN emergency response across multiple projects and clients.Prior to this, I led engineering and decommissioning delivery for Jacobs, overseeing major programmes such as Dounreay’s Shaft and Silo ILW Retrievals, before transitioning into broader operational leadership roles within Amentum. Earlier in my career, I served for over two decades in the British Armed Forces, progressing from vehicle mechanic to senior engineering manager and head of technical operations in the UK and overseas — experience that shaped my leadership style, resilience, and approach to building high-performing teams under pressure.A Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI) and Incorporated Engineer (IEng MSOE), I focus on enabling others to succeed — creating the structure, trust and clarity that allow experts to deliver safely, compliantly, and effectively.
