Building, implementing and operating Cyber Security Services for Industrial Environments and the IoT Starting his career as a kernel-level software developer for communication devices, Bernd quickly made his way to the Cyber Security Defender side of life, designing highly specialized security solutions, building a SOC in London, running a security consulting team conducting penetration tests, supporting public funded research project on Cloud Security, before becoming a Chief Information Security Architect. In 2016 Bernd became a CSA Research Fellow and is currently holding certifications for the disciplines Forensics, Intrusion Analyst, Reversing Malware, Web App Pentesting, Security Management. And working for more than 20 years within the Cyber Security Space, in 2017 he was amongst the first 120 SANS certified “Industrial Defenders” (GRID). Bernd joined Deutsche Telekom to run the ICS/IoT Security Practice, supporting the industry on it\'s journey securing the ICS/IoT environment.
