   Bernd joined UPS as a part timer in 1993. He began working for UPS as a package car driver and, like many UPSers, worked his way up through positions of increasing responsibility. Later Bernd held a variety of IT management positions in Germany as well as an assignment in Dublin involved in the development of the local IT Team. In spring 2008, Bernd became IT Procurement Manager of the Europe and Africa Region, where he was responsible for new IT Hard-and Software including the repair service. He has extensive experience and knowledge of the EMEA Region, having served in Europe Region Procurement positions in Europe. Bernd, a native of Hamburg, Germany, has held several key positions at UPS and in 2015 he accepted the position of Procurement & Treasury in the Germany District.
