Recruited to develop and lead a new video production service for a key client, working on-site to build the offering from the ground up. This role involves steering the creative direction for B2B audiences while supporting the established event production team with comprehensive post-production services.Key responsibilities and achievements include:Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and developing the video and post-production services team. This includes conducting regular 1:1s, managing appraisals, and supporting the team\'s personal and professional development. Creative Production & Direction: Serving as a hands-on Director, Producer, and Editor for high-tier video productions. Responsible for translating client briefs and abstract concepts into effective visual content that aligns with business strategy. Stakeholder Management: Managing all client interactions and expectations related to video production. This involves communicating project statuses to stakeholders and building deeper client relationships. Service Development & Quality Assurance: Driving the strategic development of the video production service by identifying opportunities for improvement and leading change. This includes maintaining the highest quality standards and implementing quality control across all video output. Operational Management: Partnering with production coordinators to ensure all equipment, spaces, and resources are scheduled efficiently for shoots.
