ABOUT BERNARDO VIANA

Undergraduate student in Economics and Management at Bocconi University with an international background and early exposure to investment and business analysis in both academic and professional settings.I have gained early exposure to the buy-side through a Private Equity internship at Confrapar (Brazil), where I supported the investment team with company analysis, valuation exercises, pipeline screening and market research. This experience strengthened my interest in fundamental investing and provided first-hand exposure to how investment decisions are developed in practice.In addition, I previously worked as a Demand Planning Intern at Mars, where I was exposed to data-driven decision-making within a large multinational environment. In this role, I supported forecasting and planning activities, strengthening my analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets in a structured business context.I am currently a Quant Trainee at D+A Strategies, an international quantitative finance association connecting students from leading European universities such as Bocconi, LSE, St. Gallen and King’s College London. Through a structured training program, I am developing a solid foundation in quantitative finance and financial markets, while further sharpening my analytical and problem-solving skills.Across these experiences, I have built a strong analytical toolkit, including financial modeling, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Python, R and PitchBook. I am particularly drawn to environments that combine analytical rigor with sound business judgment.International by background and mindset, I am fluent in English and Portuguese, with intermediate proficiency in Italian and Spanish. I am open to opportunities in Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital and Investment Banking, especially in roles that value intellectual curiosity, discipline and long-term thinking.
