ABOUT LOUISE BERNARD
Louise Bernard is a Senior Data Scientist at the Centre for Net Zero (CNZ), where she leads CNZ’s research on low carbon technologies adoption. She uses large-scale experiments and quasi-experimental methods to study energy transitions. Louise holds a PhD in Urban Economics from the London School of Economics, where her research focused on the impact of floods on urban areas and urban growth. Prior to joining CNZ, she was a consultant at the World Bank’s Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR). She also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Grantham Research Institute and the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford.
