As Chief Engineer, I help direct strategic, operational, and tactical technical vision and operations for a strategic DAF program. Program objective is to architect and design an enterprise scale well-managed, secure, resilient, digital infrastructure to deploy applications that enable warfighters to make timely decisions with speed and quality, using Model Based Systems Engineering. The infrastructure will provide cutting-edge integrated technical solutions for processing and connectivity infrastructure, as well as Data Management, leveraging best of commercial and government technologies for cloud computing, data analytics, communications, and other areas. As Chief Engineer (CE), represents the enterprise functional disciplines: people, process, tools, and the development infrastructure. The CEs are the final authority on the system architecture being developed and how it relates to the overall program roadmap. Provides thought leadership around digital modernization. Responsible for building relationships and influence across the other industry partners on the program to shape and advance it\'s goals. As Digital Infrastructure Evangelist, reports directly to the CTO of the $9B Defense Group and provides thought leadership and subject matter expertise both inside and outside the Defense Group around digital infrastructure modernization. Performs Domestic and International Business Development to advance organization strategic goals. Participates in the strategic development of the Office of Technology goals for the Defense Group. Works with industry partners to build and shape mutually beneficial relationships, joint investments, marketing, bids and proposals, research, development, and innovations. Provides content for and participates in RFIs, RFPs, Oral Presentations, White Papers, press releases, news articles, marketing materials, public speaking engagements at industry events, and more.
