As Data Protection Officer / Data Privacy Officer, I am responsible for the negotiation of privacy and data protection clauses in procurement, agent, partner, and other types of contracts. I also provide advice on new and existing products to inform internal stakeholders on obligations under applicable privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and related laws and regulations (e.g, GDPR, CCPA, CPRA and their interplay with the FCRA), and to advise on identifying and mitigating privacy and data protection risks. Reporting to the General Counsel, I am also responsible for handling a variety of complex legal projects and litigation matters. I also support the sales function with contract drafting, review and complex negotiation.
