About Benzi Ronen
Benzi was CEO & founded Farmigo - a SaaS platform for farms to sell direct to consumers. Farmigo was acquired in Aug 2021 by Grubmarket and continues to serve hundreds of farms across North America FarmigoBenzi managed a turnaround of Farmigo pivoting the company from B2C to B2B. The company went from losing $1 mil monthly to attaining a 60% profit margin.Farmigo was a pioneer in the local food industry and proved that organic sustainable food could also have a profitable business model. Benzi coined the term “Economies of Community”. During COVID, Farmigo saved farms from bankruptcy by providing a direct channel for farms to consumersBenzi coaches senior executives and entrepreneurs at Patagonia and DoorDash. He writes a blog sharing his hard-earned lessons.Benzi was also founder of Indose, a medical device company for accurate dosage which attained 3 patents for its technology and sold over units. In addition, he founded Octago, one of the first applicant tracking systems hosted on the cloud. He was Vice President at SAP where he led the product management group for NetWeaver tasked with creating a new user experience for SAP’s R3. He managed a team of product managers and designers across Israel, Germany, India, and California. Benzi served in the Israeli Air Force and is fluent in Hebrew. Benzi is currently Chair of the YPO Manhattan Chapter and has served as a board member for 5 yearsDuring his tenure, he has increased the chapter diversity of women from 20% to 30%
