About Ben York

I joined the Marines when I was 18, deployed twice and saved as much money as I could. I left the Marines after 4 years with over a year\'s salary saved and began asking for financial advice. The advice I received was \"buy gold\",\"don\'t by gold that\'s stupid\", and \"go buy a new car\". I went with the car. Later, I learned that the dealership sold me every add-on including a life insurance policy and when I learned of these things I decided to change my life\'s trajectory and help others with personal finance. I\'ve since earned a B.S. in Finance, an M.S. in Financial Planning and some other items.
