About Benyamin Sadeghi

With a passion for solving real-world problems, optimizing processes, and creating innovative products, I am an Industrial Engineer, Teacher, and Researcher. Currently, I am a Teaching Assistant at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), where I instruct and facilitate two engineering courses for undergraduate students, and a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on text mining, machine learning, and cluster analysis. Using advanced statistical methods and Python programming, I conduct research and analysis on various topics, such as sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and document clustering. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Python. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience in process automation through two internships at Freeport-McMoRan, a leading mining company. There, I designed and developed HMI displays, created a digital twin of a physical controller, and implemented a parallel control system for online testing, resulting in improved system functionality, reduced downtime, and enhanced safety.
