We live in an always on world where big data is growing all the time. So, there’s a big responsibility on those of us who work in the data centre sector to power its evolution. That’s how I look at my role as Global Account Manager for Aggreko.Just as data works by flowing seamlessly, my role requires me to facilitate stronger relationships with our clients and contractors. Facilitating the ease of trading across borders via our framework and partnering agreements. I’m a big supporter of Aggreko’s ‘glocal ’ approach. So I always aim to deliver huge expertise and resources through a single point of contact, co ordinating the local interface with our pan European and worldwide customers.I know from my previous 9 years working as a National Account Manager in Aggreko’s Northern Europe Construction division all about the importance of solid foundations. That’s how you build trusted partnerships. Every project has challenges, whether you’re creating the future of Britain’s energy network at Hinkley Point C or bridging the energy gap at a hyperscale data centre in the most remote part of Northern Europe. It’s these kinds of challenges I really enjoy. It’s why I’m immensely proud of the way we’ve become a trusted partner to the biggest names in the sector.
