Currently working in the Cyber Security, IoT, SD-WAN, Cloud Cost Optimisation and Analytics space consulting for a couple of companies here in the UAE and globally. Starting in industry in the mid 1980\'s, many Years of SE Team leadership and developing US startups, enjoy the challenge of building top class Systems Engineering Teams, working with Product Development and Engineering. Many years of experience in working major projects in EMEA region, strong relationships and customer wins. Started in the mid 80\'s building the first PC based LAN networks in London\'s finance and commercial sector, setting up early Novell networks and cabling - in the early 90\'s involved in datacoms companies building high speed analogue modems, development of ISDN products and markets. Mid to late 90\'s worked with ISP development in EMEA with Livingston Technologies range of RAS and Networking solutions plus some of the first Firewall products on the market, Livingston\'s IRX! built and managed a large SE team for Lucent Technologies until end of the 90\'s. Worked at ChacheFlow while the development of server side and client side acceleration was in development. In 2001 joined NetScreen pre IPO and developed the EMEA SE Team and EMEA market until the acquisition by Juniper Networks in 2004. Since then living in Dubai, UAE running a pan EMEA team of product and subject matter experts in the network security, VPN and application acceleration space. Now with Tufin developing the Middle East market working with regional Telcos, Banks, Government and Enterprise customers make better use of their existing security investments by implementing the Tufin Solution - giving customers visibility of their Attack Surface. Specialties: Building System Engineering teams, opening markets to new technologies, network and network security background, datacoms and networking, appliance development, co-operation with US based engineering team.
