ABOUT BEN TRIMBLE

As Senior Head of Finance Process Strategy, I lead the Strategy, Assurance & Change value stream within our Finance Shared Service Centre - driving process transformation through automation, system integration, finance product ownership and use of agentic AI. I work across all business units within the Zellis Group include new acquisitions covering in excess of £300m ARR. My remit spans the full finance lifecycle, delivering scalable, efficient, and customer-aligned processes that underpin business growth.I’ve worked across Billing, Revenue, Cost, Margin, and Business Assurance in Telecoms, Energy, and SaaS for two decades. That experience taught me that real change happens when you balance commercial outcomes with a deep understanding of people, process and technology. Whether designing end-to-end order-to-cash solutions or integrating newly acquired businesses, I focus on simplifying complexity and delivering pragmatic, measurable results.I’ve led diverse, remote teams across India, South Africa, Northern Ireland, and the UK, building expertise in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and global collaboration. My approach combines Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles with clear communication and common sense - cutting through jargon to focus on what actually works.Today, I work with stakeholders across multiple Zellis Group companies and more than ten technology platforms to deliver cohesive, data-driven finance operations. My focus is always on aligning customer experience, financial control, and business performance, proving that operational excellence and commercial success go hand in hand.
