I oversee all of Boise Bicycle Project\'s programs while managing three staff members and an apprentice program I launched in 2024. In total, I manage 700 volunteers annually directly facilitating recruitment, training, and oversight of those individuals and together we carry out programs that enhance transportation for nearly individuals a year. That impact is attained by refurbishing and donating nearly bikes to referrals through a network of community partners I manage, free bike repairs at community events I host and staff with many of those same partners, and two education series for teens I manage to teach them bike mechanics and useful job skills. In addition to those primary responsibilities, I manage all program budgets, assist with press relations, help write copy for the website and promotional materials, and find lots of other ways to employ my skills developed through my career as a journalist and education experience in marketing.
