ABOUT BENSON CHUI

I am a Game Producer at Wired Productions, an indie video game publisher. I have a BA in Cultural Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I developed a keen interest in the intersection of culture, media, and technology. I have a strong background in localization, quality assurance, and project management, having worked as a Localization QA Tester at Rockstar Games and Assistant Game Producer at Rebellion.At Rockstar Games, I was involved in localizing and testing title updates for Read Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online, two of the most popular and successful online games in the world. I reported functionality bugs for consoles, PC, and mobile app, managed external translation vendors, and participated in the internal CAT software development in the Localization Department. I applied agile project management methodologies to my daily work, creating and updating flowcharts, schedules, and reports using tools such as Microsoft Visio and monday.com. I also gained valuable skills in using Google analytics, SEO, and Google Ads to optimize online editorial and social media content, as I previously worked as a Sports Journalist at HK01, a local news organization. I am passionate about producing and testing games that are engaging, immersive, and culturally diverse. I enjoy working with talented and creative teams, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality games that reach millions of players around the world. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to explore new genres and markets. I believe I can bring a unique perspective and experience to any organization that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
