ABOUT BENSLY PIERRE

Believe it or not, I was practically born with a keyboard in hand, typing my first words as \"Hello World!\" Growing up, I quickly became the community\'s go-to problem-solver for all things tech—and not much has changed since. These days, I use that same passion and keyboard to design and develop innovative software solutions. Currently, I am a final-year student at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), proudly earning a spot on the Dean’s List. I\'m completing a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science, pursuing my deep love for technology and innovation. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, systems and architecture, web and mobile development, and more. Beyond the classroom, I thrive on supporting others. As a peer mentor and ambassador for TRU\'s Future Students Office, I help inspire the next wave of learners. My passion for service extends far beyond academics—through my role in the Turks and Caicos Islands Cadet Corps (a para-military organization), I’ve contributed to youth development in my community. Highlights include receiving the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal and actively participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. When I’m not writing code or mentoring others, you’ll likely find me exploring my creative side with photography or diving into conversations about generative AI. I’m now seeking opportunities to leverage my technical skills and real-world experiences to tackle challenges in software development.
