ABOUT BEN JONES
I am an ambitious Chartered Chemical Engineer keen to further develop my technical knowledge in Process Engineering and, Controls & Instrumentation. Throughout my time at Air Products, I gained well rounded experiences in both engineering design and production teams. This has given me a good understanding of industrial gas processes, such as steam methane reforming for hydrogen and carbon monoxide production, cryogenic distillation for air separation, and helium recovery from natural gas. I am confident in my computing skills, using engineering tools, applying industrial standards, and using good engineering practices. Colleagues have commended my ability to work proactively by identifying and solving problems. Also, I am passionate about developing others and promoting STEM. I have shown this through organising liquid nitrogen demonstrations to local schools, leading the Air Products Graduate Council as chairperson, and by being an active member of the office community group.
