ABOUT BEN O.
I’m a people-centred professional with over a decade of experience bringing communities together through education, health, and wellbeing projects. My career has always been driven by a simple belief: when people feel supported and included, they thrive — and so do the communities around them. After several years in Brunei supporting British Forces families as part of the Health Visiting Team, I’m now preparing for my next chapter back in the UK. I’m excited to apply everything I’ve learned from leading community programmes, coordinating multi-agency partnerships, and creating inclusive spaces for families, young people, and professionals to connect and grow.Whether managing projects, analysing data to measure impact, or designing creative initiatives like “Tales for Tots” or community wellbeing events, I enjoy combining empathy with organisation and a touch of creativity. My approach is collaborative and solution-focused — I love turning ideas into action and helping people feel proud of what they’ve achieved together.Looking ahead, I’m keen to contribute to UK-based organisations that value participation, learning, and social impact — whether that’s in community development, education, or programme coordination. I’m particularly motivated by roles that blend strategy with hands-on delivery, where I can use my coordination, communication, and evaluation skills to make a tangible difference. If you’re working on a project that empowers people and builds stronger communities, I’d love to connect.
