About Ben Okeefe
Ben O’Keefe is a Forbes 30 Under 30 award-winning producer, writer, and creative executive who uses the power of story to drive culture, shift systems, and spark meaningful change. He is the CEO of Chaotic Good, a creative studio working at the intersection of media, politics, and impact. Ben also hosts iHeartMedia’s HIGHKEY, a hit pop culture and politics podcast known for bold, joyful, and unapologetically honest conversation. Ben first gained national attention as a teenage activist for launching a viral campaign to hold Abercrombie & Fitch accountable for its exclusionary practices—a pivotal moment in the rise of the body positivity movement, now featured in the Netflix documentary White Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch. He later served as a Senior Creative Lead for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 2020 presidential campaign and the Impact Producer for All In: The Fight for Democracy, the Amazon Studios documentary featuring Stacey Abrams. Ben is the creator of the Flip the Script Short Film Fund, a groundbreaking initiative that has produced multiple award-winning films, including BIENVENIDOS A LOS ANGELES, which he produced and which was shortlisted for the 2023 Academy Awards. At Creator+ Studios, he served as Head of Diversity and Impact Films, where he helped elevate new voices and narratives within the entertainment industry. He was also a writer and guest co-host on MTV’s Decoded, the Webby Award-winning series that brought critical conversations about race, identity, and inequality to a new generation through humor and storytelling. Ben currently serves on the board of Unified Youth, a national organization tackling youth mental health through arts, entertainment, and sports. He is also a judge for both the Webby Awards and the NAACP Image Awards. Across every platform—from campaign strategy to creative production—Ben’s mission remains the same: to help people and institutions recognize their power and use it to build a more just, joyful world.
