ABOUT BENOIT LEGAULT
I am responsible for EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services practice in the province of Québec. Throughout my career, I have led a great many investigations related to suspected or alleged fraud, secret commissions (corruption), non compliance with company policies, conflicts of interests and other irregularities. I have has also completed a wide range of engagements involving the quantification of alleged economic damages in connection with disputes, including contract losses, allegations of irregularities in public tendering, granting or securing corporate financing and shareholder disputes.In addition to my CPA Specialist in Investigative and Forensic Accounting designation (CPA, CPA∙IFA), I also hold the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credentials. I have also served as a forensic accounting expert witness before the Superior Court of Québec.
