ABOUT BENOIT DE ANGELIS
I was born and raised in Lyon (France) where I now live, after studying in Paris at ESSEC Business School. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and have been interested in long-term company building and personal finance. • I made my first money in high school selling reading sheets and exam markings online, • At ESSEC, I immediately enrolled in Junior ESSEC Conseil, the leading student-run consulting firm in France (€2m annual turnover), where I stayed for 2 years fulfilling 60+ missions, • I also landed 2 consulting missions freelance, • With a friend, I launched a blog dedicated to personal finance where we wrote dozens of articles over 3 years, • With another friend, I then launched and failed at my first startup, Money Angel, where we tried to create a personal financial advisor with a conversational AI, • I finally graduated and went immediately to work for Agicap, the leading cashflow management solution in Europe, where I now serve in the Strategy team after changing jobs 3 times.
