I launched mid-2022 the initiative of a transverse Team aiming at improving the Performance of our wind/solar assets (~ 4GWs). At the heart of that strategy : joining the two worlds of O&M and Expertise to speak a common language both on field and in backoffice.Our team of 2ppl gathers all the experience to properly tackle the challenge of improving performance : a former on-field Operators Team manager and myself as a former Performance Analyst.This exciting challenge may be summarized as such - Focus on the worst Performers -> setup an ad hoc Project Team per wind/solar farm dealing w/ high deviations to expected Production- Daily Performance Mngt (50% of the job!)-> review/develop tools & processes accordingly to our technical and reporting requirements + setup a \"Performance Culture\" within the Operators community- Contractual follow-up -> follow industry\'s dynamic contractual challenges- Enhancements / Retrofits -> optimise (curtailments, wind farm control.), setup close relationship w/ OEMs and pursue the R&D culture within EGNMain skills required : open mindedness & social ease, mastering both Field & Analysis environments, curiosity, being result-oriented, reporting, and most importantly : being able to understand, explain & justify all steps participating in the production, from the irradiance/wind resource up to the energy sold on the market.
