Datent exists to change the fact that for far too long, most transformations have failed, and, as a result, the gap between what companies could achieve with today\'s data and tech and what they are achieving is growing rapidly.Datent is an early-stage startup that will address this problem by partnering with companies on their data and AI transformation journey.We don\'t provide consulting services. We believe many transformations fail because organisations have outsourced too much of the transformation. I\'m building Datent to help organisations turn risk mindsets into growth mindsets.Why? Because there is paradox, in Western Europe we\'ve seen the slowest productivity growth in 250 years during a period of rapid tech progress.The challenge is organisational confidence. Rather than confidently focusing on a small number of priorities we\'ve become overwhelmed and are spread thin attempting to do everything that seems a good idea. It is the opposite of strategy.This insight comes from experience. As a CDO, I led a transformation that delivered over £550 million in attributable benefits and built a community of practitioners.
