Provide assistance in creating a workplace free of hazards through orientating of new employee and ongoing training with employee with Turner, OSHA and client procedures and regulations.Document and maintain job site files in accordance with OHSA regulation and Turner guidelines.Effectively manage accident / incidents through investigations by identfying the root cause and implementing preventative measures to prevent re-occurrence. Conduct and document field audits weekly and involve/support supervision in the audit process. This is to maintain safety policies & procedures and prevent potential problems through identification, tracking and action items to a closure. Also conduct and participate in cross audit to improve safety at other job sites.Participate in morning toolbox safety meeting with supervisors and employees to promote safety awareness and compliance with Turner and client policy procedures. Actively support and educate employee in hazard recognition and control methods when performing job tasks by identify hazards, through their job safety analysis. Conduct and maintain training records current with all employeesBuild and support employees & client relationship by an open line of communication.Staying up to date on OHSA laws through training and development opportunities.Provide first/aids on-site and medical care for injuries and illnesses also perform random drug screenings.
