   Responsible for management of a mixed storage environment comprised of Data ONTAP 7-mode and Clustered Data ONTAP (CDOT), to include installation, configuration, and management of and Series Filers\\\\n\\\\n• Implementation of storage protocols to include FCoE, iSCSI, CIFS, NFS and NDMP\\\\n\\\\n• Responsible for Clustered Data ONTAP operations, including creating vservers, volumes, qtrees, setting up namespaces, setting up and implementing Export Policies and netgroups (NFS), setting up snapmirrors to DR site, and troubleshooting and escalating issues to NetApp when necessary\\\\n\\\\n• Proficient in the use of DFM/Operations Manager – configured to monitor filers enterprise wide and email alerts when thresholds are reached (% full aggrs/volumes/qtrees, loss of connectivity, performance highs/lows, latency).\\\\n\\\\n• Storage Efficiency management utilizing technologies such as scheduled Deduplication and Compression as needed\\\\n\\\\n• Implementation of data protection utilizing tools such as Snapmirror, Snapvault, SMVI, SnapDrive, Snapmanager Exchange & SQL\\\\n\\\\n• Monitoring and resource management using NetApp OnCommand System Manager, NetApp Unified Manager, Virtual Storage Console and Config Advisor\\\\n\\\\n• Build and implementation of VMware ESXi 5.5 and ESXi 6.0 servers and components to include vSphere Client, vCenter Web Client, and vCenter for centralized management\\\\n\\\\n\\\\n
