ABOUT DAVID BENEDETTI
My interest in business management and leadership has evolved as I\'ve progressed from Big4 CPA to Controller to Director of Finance & Administration to VP Finance to mid-sized company CFO. Nearly 25 years later, my focus turned to working with companies via consulting / contract roles concentrating on transformative engagements. For the past ~15 years I’ve applied my skills and talents helping organizations improve information reporting, business processes and team development.Consulting roles include: documenting / developing / implementing financial and operational metrics for privately held organizations; hands-on preparation of HTML financial reports for a publicly traded OTC development-stage company; ERP selections, implementations and system improvements. Much of my experience is concentrated in manufacturing where I developed a strong understanding of APICS best practices and ABC cost accounting. I am an advocate of process change, continuous improvement and relish opportunities to partner with sales, operations, engineering and other administrative teams to improve an organization’s effectiveness.
