I serve as the Basebuilding Director at Stand Up for Science, where I lead efforts to recruit, retain, and develop a vibrant, politically grounded membership base. My work focuses on bringing new voices into Stand Up for Science, deepening engagement with existing members, and supporting leadership development through skill-building, political education, and collective organizing. Why I fight: I’ve spent years working to transform science into a space of belonging, but what’s breaking my heart right now is watching the silence of my field as equity and justice work are dismantled–including my own postdoc.
