After graduating from Queen’s University with my Bachelor of Science (Honours) Major in Statistics and Certificate in Data Analytics, I am currently working towards my Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) from McGill University. During my time at Queen’s University, I developed excellent statistical analysis skills. I have experience analyzing and forecasting financial time series data using R packages QuantStrat and ITSM-R. I am able to apply modern machine learning methods to portfolio optimization and risk management while clearly communicating the process and results. My skills in regression analysis allow me to understand causality and correlations between economic indicators and target variables. I am also competent at data preparation and transformation using Pandas, SQL, Excel Pivot Tables and Macros.
