Since starting my career in 2007, I’ve worn many hats while covering elections and their consequences. I’ve been a campaign reporter on the trail; a congressional reporter roaming the U.S. Capitol; a policy reporter breaking down complex issues; a behind-the-scenes producer on historic presidential debates and interviews with world leaders; a bureau chief overseeing reporters, editors, newsletters, and a news hub for international elections; and an opinions editor cultivating distinctive voices not only on politics, but topics like culture, tech, economics, history, and religion as well.I’ve worked across new and traditional media and in many different formats, including blogs, print-style news dispatches, magazine-style features, analysis-focused columns, live TV commentary, and podcasts. I\'ve helped launch media startups like Semafor and The Daily Beast and I\'ve worked on the longest-running show on television,\"Meet The Press.\" Along the way, I’ve amassed a large and influential social media presence, including over followers on X, where I’m known for my colorful commentary and good-natured engagement with voices across the political spectrum.
