I manage the Alexandria Digitization Hub in Rome — a joint initiative of Longbeard and the Pontifical Gregorian University — where we deploy advanced robotics and AI to digitize, preserve, and universalize one of the world\'s most significant historical archives. I regularly host tours and briefings for investors, institutional partners, and visiting delegations from Rome\'s academic and tech communities. Collaborate closely with technical and marketing teams to iterate on SOPs and efficiency workflows, with scanning capacity reaching 1,400 pages per hour. Our knowledge base now surpasses ingested volumes. Current scanning projects include the Acta Apostolicae Sedis (back to 1740), the Annuario Pontificio (back to 1912), and the Annuarium Statisticum Ecclesiae (back to 1970) — assembling a historically deep dataset that will allow researchers and institutions to track centuries of institutional change and human history.

ABOUT BENJAMIN CROCKETT
People are storytelling animals. We make sense of the world through narrative, build community through shared meaning, and discover who we are by seeing ourselves reflected in others. Theater taught me that these questions cannot be solved by argument. They have to be lived on stage in front of an audience. That conviction followed me from directing theater in Los Angeles to filming refugees in Malawi, to covering the Vatican in Rome, to building AI tools trained on two thousand years of human wisdom. The question has always been the same. The medium keeps changing. Currently, as Director of Content at Longbeard and Administrator of the Alexandria Digitization Hub, I am part of the effort to universalize two millennia of human thought. By deploying advanced robotics and AI to digitize the pontifical libraries, we are making the deep intellectual and moral traditions of the past accessible to the digital future worldwide.
