ABOUT BENJAMIN VAHLE
Creating new products and services that help people lead better lives is my passion. I love to find creative solutions to important challenges and put them to work. This is exactly what I have been doing since graduating from college. I worked as CEO for 8 years, not because I always wanted to be a CEO, but because I wanted to address challenges in society, provide scalable solutions and have a measurable impact. I co-founded two companies, each with a strong social impact mission. My first venture, boost, was a charitable company that used affiliate marketing to generate income for charities. We turned our initial funding of € into more than 2 million € in donations for a range of different projects. The second company, Blue Bird Technologies helps people with severe mental disorders better cope with their symptoms and emotional crises in everyday life. User-centricity was key to this project. More than patients helped us develop a smartphone app that trains the user’s self-awareness and provides guidance and assistance when help is needed.
