As a digital native I love working with and learning about the latest technologies. Since starting my first online business at the age of 13, I’ve had a keen interest in digital marketing and therefore decided to pursue a career in this space.I have an entrepreneurial streak and have started a number of online ventures over the years, so have a wealth of additional experience on top of my \'formal\' job roles. For example:• I founded a pub finder website with 40k+ pubs listed and thousands of monthly users• Set up a number of eCommerce websites from scratch and gained customers with low marketing spend• Grew a membership-based site from less than to members in a few months• Took over a site selling website HTML and PHP scripts then completely rebranded it, implemented an automated product delivery process, and set up an affiliate program• Imported goods from China and India to sell both online and offline• Worked with a business that received funding on Dragons\' Den, acting as one of their first resellers• Freelanced as a marketing consultant for businesses around the worldWhile such ventures take a back seat to my main job, I believe maintaining side projects helps me develop my skills further and learn new things, which I can then apply in my role.
