About Ben Siri
I am a graduate in Computer Science major with a Statistics minor at Penn State. My passion for solving complex problems has only grown after I joined the Schreyer Honors college where I\'m pursuing research in neural networks and machine learning. I\'ve developed machine perception models as I prepare to join the PSU Advanced Vehicle Team which is competing in the fourth year of SAE\'s Autodrive II challenge. Both of these experiences will prepare me well for a career in ML after graduation.I\'ve been fortunate to work as a Teaching Assistant in Computer Engineering 270 for the past few semesters and serving as the course content lead this summer. I gained valuable experience working closely with my peers to tailor labs, home works, and exams for students success. During this summer I\'m also designing software for the growing start-up trueHue, and working at OpenLiteracy where I implement javascript code for english tutors.In my free time I love playing pickle ball and rooting for the Nittany Lions. WE ARE!
