As a department manager at Burns & McDonnell, I lead the firm’s office in Detroit. I am responsible for business development, recruitment, training, project management and quality control. The Detroit office is a regional hub for design and construction projects involving electrical transmission and distribution, energy, manufacturing, transportation, water and other critical needs. I have more than a decade of engineering, project and management experience across Michigan and the U.S. Previous to my role at Burns & McDonnell, I had been responsible for the direction, leadership and oversight of 90 design, engineering and support professionals. I have experience as a project engineer, proposal manager, project manager and chief engineer on power-delivery projects.
