I am an Australian-qualified solicitor at Cancer Research Horizons. Cancer Research Horizons is Cancer Research UK’s commercialisation arm. We turn scientific breakthroughs into treatments, tests and devices that benefit patients.​ Those breakthroughs come from our £400m annual research spend and network of over exceptional researchers, working at leading universities and research institutes in the UK, US and worldwide.​ Drugs linked to our research are now used to treat more than 8 in 10 people with cancer in the UK. We offer researchers with new discoveries and innovations a range of support from drug discovery and clinical trials to company and project funding, entrepreneurial training, licensing, industry collaboration and start-up creation expertise. We have played a role in the creation of 79 start-ups and bringing 13 drugs to market.
